The sword Aragorn had was NOT Andúril in the movie, I'm pretty sure.  At
the end, when he salutes the Orcs about to attack, you can see the whole
blade.  According to some tv special I saw on the making of the movie,
the reforged Andúril is engraved with lots of symbols and things (a la
Sting).  Aragorn's blade wasn't engraved.  I would guess that Andúril
will show with the banner Arwen made, in TTT.  This would play into PJ's
whole thing with Aragorn not being willing to return to his crown
(scepter, actually, but that's a pendantic point of Numenorean history.
;-)).  He doesn't get the sword till he's ready to become king.
