I could read it, and Ray Brown could read it (if he did), but Lojbab
couldn't have read it, trust me. For an educated man, his
limitations are amazing. (I say this with all affection.)
Pure monolingual English speakers still have to learn a lot to
understand Occ. or IALA Int. from scratch.

No, you couldn't. Even if all the content words were replaced by
their English equivalents, you still couldn't. (We've tried that.)
