My Duden doesn't recognize the word at all, but a quick search with google.de
seems to indicate that the forms _Visigote_ and _Wisigote_ are about equally
common (both almost always pl _V-/Wisigoten_). Searching for "wisigoth" gives
mostly French hits even when I tell Google to only search German pages.
So the short answer is "no". But why should the French have nicked the German
form anyway?
