You know, Finnish's got a form of a word exactly like that (well, spellt "saatan" (the -n being 1st person singularis but anyway pronounced like "satan"'s pronounced in Swedish). Never given me any problems, and this real-life example struck me when I first ran into this situation. I do try to avoid having the tetragrammaton to appear in it's most probable forms in my languages tho'.
