My pet peeve against subtitles is that they're too slow; when I read a line
my eyes want to read the next line, but that won't have popped up yet. This
can happen three, even four, times on a single line (ie I reread it
accidentally). Really annoying, especially when I'm tired and my eye
musculature take on a life of its own ...
