Re: OT: Whatever

I figure I might as well stop reading here too.

Let's face it: I'm here mainly in the hopes of a discussion of whichever conlang
I happen to be working on, although I enjoy seeing discussions of other
interesting* conlangs, and even natlangs, provided it's not about phonetics
and phonemes. The problem (and if you say anything about my use of the
word "problem", fuck you) is that my conlang has reached the point where
anybody who wants to discuss it has to study quite a lot of non-standard
poorly organized material first. Very few are both able and willing to do that,
especially considering that probably not many find my particular kind of
conlanging worthwhile.

So, the benefits to me are limited. On the minus side, sometimes issues come
up that I suspect most people don't notice, but I find very distressing, even if
I don't mention it.

That's it I guess, except that I'd better say that I'm not trying to impose my
own tastes on others. I'm sure this post could be much better written -- but
only if someone else wrote it.

* How can I word that without implying that my own conlang should be
interesting to other people?
