Why the "too"?

YA*PTs are the reason any good mail-program has the function "mark thread as read", or in my case, using procmail to mark 'em as read before they reach my "Conlang"-box. Now, a reason YA*PT and other phone*ic threads grow so much is of course the bikeshed-problem: it's IMHO the easiest part of language, making it easy for people to participate.

A handful no doubt do find it worthwhile. That doesn't mean that they have anything better to answer your posts with "neat" or "AOL" or "good idea" though. Since such posts are better off unsent, there are few to no replies.

Now you made me curious. If it isn't "no cross, no crown, no green star", could we discuss it offlist?

Sounds like CONLANG-L burnout. I have'em about 14 months apart but then I get better... t.
