Not much anymore, though still found in older cities. Given the way we
drive here, they would be a definite hazard nowadays. But fun to navigate on
a motorcycle! When we began building many 4-lane and divided highways after
WW II, they were replaced by the cloverleaf intersection. That confused a
lot of people at first (turn right to go left??), but it's second nature
now.
