A damned interesting question. In one of Orson Scott Card's novels,
there are three species, colloquially known as Piggies, Buggers (they
are insectoid), and Humans. In a conversation between a Piggie and
a Bugger, one asks why there is no derogatory term for Humans.
The other replies: "'Human' *is* the derogatory term."
