Well, I'm not picturing a long standing union. IIRC Denmark
and Sweden sided under the 30 years war (well, it would be
better to say that they fight the same enemy at different
intervals).
In Zera they both fought the Hapsburgs and signed an
agreement to join which didn't last very long, both kingdoms
trying to control Germany and the Baltic.
Would such line of history had help preserve Prussian
language? When was the last known population speaking some
East Germanic language (Gothic)?
