Quebecois has indeed a very recognisable accent. The tonal line in
Quebecois is much more varied than in Continental French, and the stress
has more influence on pronunciation. Also, Quebecois often uses
pronunciations that have mostly disappeared in Continental French, like
[wE] for "oi" (we use [wa]).
