After very little time I found that I understood all kinds of words here,
"atta unsar thu in himinam", "swe in himina jah ana airthai", and so on.
After seeing the first two or three sentences I realized what it was.  Now
I've never studied any Germanic language except a little bit of German in
high school, some seven years ago.  I speak a pretty good amount of Spanish
and use it on an almost daily basis.  So from that sort of background, if it
were just a question of exposure, you might think that I wouldn't get
anything in Gothic.  I myself was surprised to find this not the case.
