Re: list freezes

Dear David,

I recently returned to this list after a hiatus of five months.  When
the list unfroze this morning NZT, I got a glut of messages, burying
everything else in my inbox, including messages that demanded my
attention.  I removed 120 messages to restore tidiness and recognition
to my inbox.  The only message I found worth keeping was yours because
it affected the administration of the list.

I wish to applaud your decision on restoring the 100 message limit.  You
have my vote of approval on this action.  There is too much noise on
this list.  After effectively one day back, I am seriously considering
taking the NOMAIL option.
