Which is perhaps why subscribers to the list end up learning about the
filtering capabilities of their mail software, or procmail, or
something like that :)
I can recommend it. My mailer (Pegasus) automatically filters all
Conlag mail into its own folder so it doesn't clutter up my inbox; I
can ignore the group for a couple of days and it doesn't affect my
other mails. I think on Unix such things are usually done by procmail
rather than from within the mailer itself (you appear to be using
Mutt).

procmail is your friend :)
