Just out of curiosity: is it the _number_ of messages, or their _total
size_ that constipates the list? (Thinking about it, I suspect the former:
100 msgs. totalling _N_ KB is probably more difficult to handle than just 2
or 3 totalling _N_ KB. No?) One could combine several short replies into one
msg.-- would that help? However, would anyone read a msg. with "Subject:
multiple replies"? (Well, I would, but then, I'm not very busy..........)
