Well, there comes in the choice aspect. I didn't choose to be attracted to
men,
but I did choose to tell people, and I did choose to close my mind to the
idea of being with a woman. That was part of it, eliminating one-half
(the female one) of my inner sexual tension by simply dismissing it. This
may be what happens with people who are really gay but choose to be active
with women. I don't know. What I do know is that it would feel wrong to
me if I tried it now, basically because I am no longer open to the idea.
That's
what happened when I came out. Beforehand I was still analyzing myself.

P.S. It wasn't an assumsion. I was just _knowing._
