monovalent verb stems except that they are usually marked as present tense
and don't usually take aspect marking.

It means that I have a problem with terminology. The first "subject" refers to
the non-expressed argument of a non-verb form. The second "subject" means
the role of the single argument of a monovalent word. I'm not sure what to do
about this.
