Yes, _mari_ has to appear just after the verb (without anything in between)
to allow the ellipsis of _la_. _mari ZdetEst moi_ sounds really ackward (it
sounds as if _mari_ should be the subject and _moi_ the object, which is
contradicted in the verb) and _ZdetEst moi mari_ sounds even worse (it
sounds like an uncorrect way to say: "I hate myself, Mary").
