I'd just point out that my goal with Altaii is not to create a highly exotic
grammar. The thread arose because I couldn't tell whether it'd be
accusative, ergative, or something else with the syntax and (lack of)
marking I want it to have. Now I tend to believe David Petersons suggestion
that it's probably accusative, and I feel no need to change it because of
that.
