I figured since these things take so much time (mama mama it's so haaard, lol)
I may as well post individual ones up as I get done with them, instead of
waiting till the if-when I ever finish the whole list.
I had some of these words in Kirumb already so I am doing them both in Kirumb
and Ibran.
> 1. bless
Kirumb: rosintsó /rUsIn"tsu:/
Ibran: bendizre /bEn"dicCr=/
> She blessed me softly (i.e. in a soft voice).
Kirumb:
Mí rosontsoric kiíai.
/mi: rUsUn"tsUrIts "kji:Aj/
[mi: rUsUn"tsUrits "kjijAj]
mí ro -sonts -or -ic kií -ai
1SgAc good.incant-Prt.Aor.3s-Tr quiet-Adv
Ibran:
Suafment le mi bendicei.
/"swAfmEnt l@ mi bEn"diCeI/
NRC: ["zwAfmEnT %lm=mibEn"diZe]
paysaan: ["zwAfmEnt "lV mi bEn"dij\eI]
suaf-ment le mi bendic-ei
soft.Adv 3 1SgAc bless .3S-Pret
Comments--
Ibran [wA] is also a phonetic realization of /O:/ in NRC so you might even have
a hypercorrected <sofe> [zO:f] for <suaf> [zwAf]. Also there seems to be a
tendency for Ibran adverbs to come first. Is this allowed to be normal?
