Maybe -ITATE also becomes _ita'_? Allegedly the Italian
development was a kind of haplology of [i'tat@]. That
seems like gefundenes Fressen for Terkunan!
I would also like to hear what anyone may have to say
on the Rhodrese article question I posted in my reply.
