Having read about consonant mutations in the Celtic langs, I decided to
make a conlang with mutations, but, not knowing much about them, I had
things like p->t, t->k, k->p, and one where voiced and unvoiced
consonants swapped, so that /p/ became /b/, while /b/ became /p/! I
abandoned it as it was too hard to recognize words, since all words
began with CV- and ended with -VC, and both the first and last
consonants and the first and last vowels could be changed!

I had maybe a half dozen or so like that before I started on Uatakassí.

Impressive! I only have 407 roots and 620 words.
