Yes. "Sila" means "strain, strain off, trickle". I'm not sure what you mean by "shoot up a barn". (Though if you have a barn, you ususally have a "silo"... :D )

I would say "snäsa åt", a particle verb. "Varför snäser du *åt* mej?" "Snäs inte åt mej!" That would be the normal way of saying it.
