I like that. My Shan language also has a few resumptive pronouns referring=

'the latter word'
'the latter topic'
'the latter clause'
'the verb of the latter clause'
'the former clause'
'the next clause'
Actually I was surprised that I could handle this system quite well althou=
gh I
thought this was very unnatural at first sight. I think it's due to the fa=
ct
that our 'brain' is trained to constantly retro-analysing the speech we he=
ar
or express.
