Really? Good grief, I don't recall anything about that, ever. (I do remember Christophe's proposal.) But IMO isn't there an inherent problem [please take all of the following with a Great Big :-))))) ]-- what sort of articles would it have? --Reviews of conlangs? Uh-oh, that could be touchy... --Interesting features of Conlang X? These are usually discussed in our various postings here, though perhaps not in as much detail as readers (or the writer) might wish... But that's what websites are for, no? --Interesting natlang features? Same as above. --History of conlanging? Sally is probably working on that. --Discussion of various linguistic theories? <pers.opinion>aargh, despite probable value. It seems to me, almost as if the existing Archive, websites, the many links, etc. already constitute a sort of journal. This I suspect is why previous projects-- exciting as they may have sounded-- never got off the drawing board. Sorry if I'm being a wet blanket, but what other ideas might people have? BTW, in the event this project should blossom, I'll suggest a title for the journal: Linguae Ignotae -- homage to our de-facto patron saint, and recognition of the fact that most conlangs are, indeed, unknown to most of the world.
