Yes, English has several letters and letter combinations that
mean the same thing or are now the same.

Ch = K or Kh, or .. Or ck?
Ti = Sh?
Sh = Sh
Gh = F, Ph and ?
K = Ch, Ck, Q and what else?
Wh = Hw or W

Maybe why in my conlangs, I am very specific on what the sound
it to be and why and the letters to be used for it, or letter
for the sound.
