Personally, I find it an advantage that nobody else can read my notes ... The thing is that in a coherrent text, most of the signs fill no other function than tellin' how the few important bits relate to each other. When I take notes, I kind of do away with all this extra stuff. The result is a bunch of unconnected words, phrases and figures, and if you don't know what it's about looking at it won't help you. Its intended to help out my memory, not for anybody else to understand.
