Actually, I think my main point (which, for some reason, I didn't state) is
that often times I have no clue what's being said.  I don't want to have to
keep a hand dictionary of your accepted acronyms just to understand an e-mail.

Well, of course you wouldn't use "I'm"--you're not supposed to use personal
pronouns in formal paper writing.  :)
