I can't help you on this myself, but Dirk Elzinga has some experience
with the Deseret alphabet. IIRC, Tepa/Miapimoquitch was (notionally)
originally transcribed in Deseret by a Mormon missionary. He's away
right now doing fieldwork with the Chemehuevis, but he should be back
at the end of the summer.
