More graded sentences for analysis

I've just added the next 269 graded English sentences
to the conlang resources section of my web page
http://fiziwig.com/index.html
I've also begun a collection some sentences from
children's books ranging from early readers to middle
school chapter books. What I'm aiming to do is to
create a culture-neutral "standard corpus" of around
1000 sentences which includes the "basic vocabulary"
any language "should" have. (fundamental human
activities, basic body parts, food and water, basic
emotional states and needs, basic environmental
elements such as bodies of water, plant and animal
life, weather, sky features, passage of time, etc.)
Then I can use this corpus to test a conlang and to
find where it is lacking in vocabulary or grammatical
flexibility.
