What could be more up to date than "The Miller's Sons"? Unless by "up to
date" you mean "containing words that weren't useful/extant in older times".
I only wrote the story yesterday, and all of the words in it are still used
and very well known. (Other than "knight", which is a very well known word,
all of the words here are certainly in common usage, at least for me.)
