Having worn a watch on by left wrist since I was seven, now not doing it feels
like having a heavy metal ring around the wrist. My mobile phone*, OTOH, I
still usually only have on me when I leave the house, and then often in my
backpack. The thing IS addictive, but not to the degree a wrist watch is. Now,
don't get me started on Internet access ... or mailing lists!

* Since arriving here in Germany, I keep tending to say "Handy" for mobile
phone. No doubt one of the most annoying pseudo-loans around!
