You could instead apply this to mountains, so that 'snow's head' means
'mountain peak', and 'snow's feet' means 'base of a mountain'...

This could get confused with 'snowman', that is if your conculture's
children build them...

"* Snow's arms: a massive avalanche


I would suggest 'snow's running', as James did, because I think of
avalanches as verbs.

"* Snow's hands: a localized, smaller avalanche

You could apply a diminutive derivation to 'snow's running' for this one.

"* Snow's breath: a blizzard
* Snow's saliva: snowmelt, runoff
* Snow's teeth: icicles"

I like these.
