Nouvelle-France is *there* the equivalent of Quebec *here*, isn't it? Where did
the majority of French immigrants going there came from? I'd guess their
language/dialect would be principally based on it. But if I refer to the common
Quebecois reaction to French of France *here*, the Nouvelle-Franciens (or
Nouveaux-Franciens? ;))) ) would probably find Francien rather bland.
