Funny, I have never really thought about the question who was my father in
conlanging. I guess there wasn't any, and I started doing it on my own.
However, I remember the first time I found out that there are other people
doing the same: some two years ago, when I visited a hospital in Germany, I
found a magazine that contained an interview with a young German conlanger,
Cyril Brosch, who told about his language S'nôke. I started browsing the
Internet, and then I found a lot of other conlangs. Strange enough, I've never
heard about Cyril Brosch ever since. But the connection was made, and soon
after that I had a database file with over 1000 conlangs.
Of course, I have always known Zamenhof, but somehow never associated my own
conlanging with IALs.

Has she joined the List already, or is she going to join tomorrow? :)
