<<Wouldn't you care to post a list once of your P1-P27, along with a short
description? I've lost track!>>

I'll do it after the Sabbath.

<<Let's shake hands then. A few days ago, I posted a message in which I
wrote
that I perceive conlanging mainly as a visual artform, but I got a strong
impression that I was the only one. At least I'm not alone anymore.>>

Taking into account what Eamon wrote:
<<For me conlanging is a visual art (my Bauhinese I like to call an
"impressionist painting of East Asia") but for me it's also a
literary art - I use it in my own Magic Realist/Magic Expressionist
literature. I can see where it could be an aural art - if spoken or
sung, of course.>>,
I can only say: I feel the same!

-------------
As for "fathers":
[me]: My "father" in conlanging was Zamenhof.
[eamon]: Zamenhof inspired me too in that I was conlanging at the age of 10
and when I discovered Esperanto shortly after that (thanks to an
article by Mario Pei) Zamenhof re-assured me that I wasn't "weird."
[me]: Yeah, that's what I actually meant!

[jan]: I remember the first time I found out that there are other people
doing the same
[me]: As I wrote, I came back to conlanging by learning that there are sooo
many ppl in the world doing it!

------------
As for my origin:
<<The name "Isaak" made me think that you were born Jewish.>>
That's not my *documented* name. In the official papers I'm still Igor. I
chose a new name of Isaac as a sign of changes in my spirituality and way of
life (my wife and I are learning to practice Torah-observant lifestyle); it
is not found in any official document, but my best friends (and even some
relatives), and everybody in the congregation call me Isaac or Yitzik. I
hope to see this name in giyyur (formal conversion) certificate one day...

<<Also because
Russian seems to be the L1 of most Jews in Ukraine; my fiancee (who is from
Lviv, as you might recall) is an example. She still considers Jewry as her
nationality>>
I'm impressed! My congratulations!
Let her kindle the Sabbath lights tonight at about 4:30pm (I don't know your
precise location, so I looked for Amsterdam); tell her: Yitzik says - that's
important!
