Never experienced the problem that according to the orthodox learnings it
should be a matter of blood only?

Well, I should add that to her it is a matter of nationality only. As for
religion, she is somewhere in the middle of the triangle of my agnosticism, her
own Jewishness, and her late father's catholocism... closest to my corner, I
think. But I will tell her. Anyway, since my daughter is Jewish, she will
eventually have to learn something about Jewish traditions.
