In Spanish there is also the word "estadounidense", but unfortunately it's
not widely used... I must be the only one who uses it in everyday
conversation, since most people say "norteamericano" or just "americano",
which I don't like, as I've always felt that I'm American, that is, I was
born in the continent called America.
