You could say something in English, but it seems better to me if I put
certain things into Sturnan to say them (and provide a translation, of
course). Formal things seem more personal, then. I guess it's because
constructed languages are so often personal, despite the availability of
information on some, and using one's conlang is revealing a part of one's
private world to someone else.
