well you could have had it be a written language... then a phonology
wouldn't be all that important... so imho you shouldn't dismiss it
just because of lack of phonology... but what do you mean by root
system? (does my language have a root system? uh-oh... i'll just be
sitting here hoping really hard that narethanaal has a root system
