Well, I spoke too soon --- I just got a lot of A?kwz in Chollie's last
post (which otherwise proves that hotmail can send in normal Latin-1).

Some MS software is prone to putting in the ones I've starred above
without the user asking for them specifically --- so please check your
settings if you use that stuff.
