Heres the names of some stars and constellations in the Jakautdoks
language:

Star - Piduim
constellation - Bohoboho
orion - Untikna
Sirius - Aso (Ka Piduim)
Canis Major - Aso
Ursa Major - Bamalog
Milky way - Ilok
pleiades - Bido Ka Piduim
Polaris - Paynga

The Jakautdok see Orion (Untikna) as a warrior (or hunter since the
Jakautdok do not war anymore but consider hunting much the same as being a
warrior). They see the sword that Orion carries as a bow. .Sirius is
called "Aso" (dog) because it seems to follow untikna across the sky, much
like the dogs the Jakautdok keep follow the hunters on hunting trips. The
Proper name for "Aso" is "Aso Ka Piduim" (Dog Star), but the colloquial
term is just "Aso". Canis Majoris is also called "Aso" because it
resembles a dog. Bamalog is seen as a dipper, and thats exactly what the
name means in the Jakautdok language. The pleiades is called "Bido Ka
Piduim" or seven stars. Polaris is called Paynga or "pearl" because it
stays as permanent in the night sky as a pearl in a princess' crown. The
milky way is called the river (ilok). The grouping of Untikna, Aso, and
Ilok is called "The hunt" (Ng Pagnaril).

I also am re-inspired to start working on making the sound changes "more
correct" and more consistent, so the entire vocabulary (as i have it) will
be different soon.
