It's funny you mention that; I had dinner with Sabrina at the Norway
pavilion (in the terribly nice Akershus restaurant) and spoke to the
waitress in Swedish, who of course responded in Norwegian.  We had
fun with that.  (My Swedish was a lot less rusty then; France killed
my Swedish :) )

Which leads me to a question I've wondered about ever since I was a
wee lad: how mutually intelligible - if at all - are Ukrainian,
Russian and Byelorussian?
