Well, even Northerners tend to have [z] between vowels. Or so I hear it. And
[G] is a hundred times softer than [x] for my throat :)) .
And you pronounce /eu/ as

Maybe more [2H] (with the rounded version of [j]), but the whole diphtongue is
definitely rounded.
My relatives from Belgium pronounce it something like

I think it's probably the same pronunciation. Is the off-glide really
unrounded? If it's rounded, then it's [2H], which is basically what I meant (in
fast speech, the difference between [2H] and [2y] is too small to be heard by
me anyway, so it could be any of the two without me knowing which one :)) ).
I admit I don't understand the last remark. Please explain!
