First of all, the word "universe" in itself implies that there is no other,
since everything is contained in it implicitly. However, on my conworld
Almaran they distinguish (in the Romal language) two different universes:
the Almaran-Chui is the real and current universe. But there is also the
araka-chui, or "ancient universe", where, according to the first of the
three Cronarian scrolls, the first god escaped from, to create this world.
