I tend not to translate my name into conlangs. "Herman" has an =
unfortunate
meaning (something like "soldier" IIRC), and "miller" doesn't translate
well to alien cultures that don't have anything like a mill.

What I do instead is adopt a character's name, such as Kaza Zikos, or
translate a phrase that I identify with in some way or another, such as
"Talanor" in Kaltani Elvish ("seeker of languages"), or "la ke'acpi" in
Lojban ("cave-bird", an indirect reference to Thryomanes, which is a =
member
of the family Troglodytidae).
