I tend not to translate my name into conlangs. "Herman" has an = unfortunate meaning (something like "soldier" IIRC), and "miller" doesn't translate well to alien cultures that don't have anything like a mill. What I do instead is adopt a character's name, such as Kaza Zikos, or translate a phrase that I identify with in some way or another, such as "Talanor" in Kaltani Elvish ("seeker of languages"), or "la ke'acpi" in Lojban ("cave-bird", an indirect reference to Thryomanes, which is a = member of the family Troglodytidae). -- languages of Kolagia---> = +---<http://www.io.com/~hmiller/languages.html>--- Thryomanes /"If all Printers were determin'd not to print = any (Herman Miller) / thing till they were sure it would offend no = body, moc.oi @ rellimh <-/ there would be very little printed." -Ben = Franklin
