Fussy relatives all over the place.
So it was my nephew (gentile) and his Jewish wife (well, 1/4 at best-- that
whole family is really messed up.....) had a problem naming their firstborn
son. Nephews
father and grandfather were Jr and Sr, and nobody liked them or their name.
Nobody liked the Mills grandfather's name Fred (my father); my sister-- not
wild about the marriage in any case-- vetoed any of the "too Jewish"
suggested by the wife's family (ridiculous attitude, sez I). Somehow they
found Daniel in the archives, which also happened to be the name of nephew's
gr-gr-gr gf Mills (though he didn't know it until I told him).
