Well, my full name is Nicholas Paul Taylor. "Nicholas" was basically
the only name that both of my parents could agree upon (incidentally,
the name was from the name of the little boy on "Eight is Enough").
:-) Paul is a family name, on my Mom's side of the family, every male
member has the middle name "Paul". My Mom slightly altered that
tradition and only gave the firstborn (me) that middle name. I'm not
sure why our family has that particular tradition. Perhaps after some
ancestor, or maybe after St. Paul, those are my guesses, but no one
anymore remembers why.
