heheh...maybe, i'm not sure where i got it from. But, the nominative is "koa", when you add
the suffix -u to it, it becomes: koau > koo > ko:o > kuo

But I think "koa" (which comes from: *kawa) originally was some sort of Quenya "loan" ...maybe.
