Right, but what I mean is I'd say either "I'm living in Miami now" or "I
live in Miami now", both would be proper responses to that question,
but, in the context of the situation you gave, "Where do you live now?"
would sound odd.  "Where do you live?" would require a different context
than "Where are you living?", but "I'm living in Miami" and "I live in
Miami" would both work in the same context, in my idiolect.
